MIAMI BEACH, Anglewood and Michael are the absolute
best! I
was looking to update the look of my cabinets which were more than 15 years old. My initial consultation was with a
Home Depot rep, but it was ridiculously expensive and more work than necessary for what I wanted. I consulted Angie's
List and saw the glowing reviews for Anglewood. I arranged a consultation with Michael. He was able to fit me in immediately.
He took measurements and gave me a written quote. His suggestions were brilliant and the quote was completely
reasonable. I was impressed by his professionalism and that he suggested solutions to a couple of my concerns without
trying up-sell me. I cancelled the other consults I had scheduled because it was exactly what I wanted at a fair price. I placed the order, and
we scheduled the install. Michael called to confirm the day before and arrived at the scheduled at time. I did
not have to remove anything from my cabinets, and Michael went to work. WIthin a couple of hours, my kitchen and bath
looked brand new! I
am so happy with the result and my experience with Anglewood! I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone
looking for cabinet refacing/updating.
Ted
Wilton Manors, Overall my partner and I are happy
with the job Michael did. We had a 20+ year old kitchen that was dated and needed help! Michael came out to explain his product
line and had samples of the material. He left us several cabinet doors for a couple weeks until we made our selection. The
kitchen is exactly what we had hoped for. We already had nice solid hard wood cabinets and did not think we needed to purchase
all new cabinets. We now have a beautiful modern kitchen with updated cabinets and a wonderful granite counter. As I learned
there is more than one way to do a kitchen reface. Any one choosing to have their kitchen redone should do their home work
on the different methods of installation. In my opinion the best way to attach the new mica cabinet fronts is with contact
cement. It results in a smooth clean finish. I am unable to tell that my cabinets were refaced. As Michael explained to me
the contact cement has a very strong Oder during the installation process and some of his clients did not like it. For those
people also offers another type adhesive..... however for my money I asked him to use the contact cement because the finished
product is better for my taste. Also I decided to pay a little xtra to have Michael to apply the Mica/ Laminate to the inside
of the cabinets so there was no way of knowing it was a reface! I also did the crown molding and am soooooo glad we did. Our
kitchen also needed some attention to the layout. We were missing the small cabinet above the microwave, low desk area and
our sink was not centered under the new kitchen window. With Michaels background in cabinet making he was able to construct
and correct our cabinets to our liking! We would never have been happy with the old 1970s layout without these important changes.

He started and finished the job on the schedule he gave us at the time we signed the contract. His work ethic and craftsmanship
are excellent. Our home was left clean and neat each day when he left. He installs a quality product. His price was very reasonable.
We can recommend him without any reservations whatsoever! |

can I say? I have a 25-year-old kitchen that's brand-new, thanks to Michael and Anglewood. My kitchen is the one that's currently
pictured on Anglewood's home page. The left-hand photo is the way the place looked when we bought it, the photo on the right
as it is now. Incredible. Not only does Michael do wonderful work, but he's an artist, making suggestions -- like raising
the cabinet above the microwave -- that make the room special and become focal points. Also, no need to be stuck with your
old cabinet "innards." I had four narrow and shallow drawers--two on each side of my stove. Michael combined the
two into one big new drawer on each side, giving me plenty of usable space for silverware, serving pieces and utensils, PLUS
gave me two deep drawers below each for pots and pans, casserole dishes, etc. He also took a shabby pantry, which had been
an add-on, and refaced it and topped it with crown moulding. It looks like a piece of furniture. My cabinets were solid and
good candidates for refacing (Michael will let you know if yours are when he comes out). What I found was that many of the
cabinets you buy now are pressed board and laminate sides, so I figured why not reface what I had, rather than go to the mess
and hassle of pulling the old cabinets out (not to mention, disposing of them) and replacing them with lesser ones. OK, I've
gone on and one about the kitchen, but I can't praise Michael himself more highly. He came and gave me an estimate, stuck
by it and arrived to start work when he promised. It took a little more than a week (because I was so pleased, I asked him
to do the bathroom vanities, as well) and every day he came when he said he would. Every night he cleaned up before he left
and it was a treat to walk in and see what he'd accomplished. I can't recommend him more highly. Thank you, Michael! |
8910 Seagrape Drive Davie Just recently we were planning to update our kitchen without going into a large financial expense..We called
about five or six independent contractors and after conducting interviews and checking their estimates,we decided to trust
our business to Mr. Michael Winkenholz, doing business ander the name Anglewood Cabinet Refacing. We are, absolutely, delighted
with his craftsmanship,he has delivered what he had promissed. There were no hidden surprises at the end of the job.No extra
costs,no delays,no excuses. What we were especially impressed with, was Micheal's work ethic and his neatness.Knowing how important
a kitchen is to a couple of seniors,he kept the inconvenience to a minimum, keeping his tools neatly in a corner and putting
them away at the end of the days work. Based on our experience with Michael's work we will not hesitate to recommend him to
anyone who is looking for a reliable, honest and skilled workman.
